Energy efficiency in painting shed. Automotive factory

The project consists of the modernization and improvement in the design of equipment and auxiliary systems linked to the air conditioning of a ship where the painting process of truck cabins is carried out, within the Madrid factory of a multinational automotive.

The surface and volume to be climatized is 6,700 m2 and 38,000 m3 respectively. A total of five indoor air treatment units (UTA) are installed for the various areas of the building, taking into account the specific air renewal needs of each zone (eg 30 m3 / h in painting).

The set of actions; The new air conditioners, its centralized management system, the replacement of the entire network of pipes for both superheated water (760 m) and air ducts for diffusion (3,000 m.) And the isolation of all of them make the Energy savings reach a value of over 34%, with a reduction in CO 2 emissions of 300 t / y.
