HOMEPAQ FOR GRUPO CORREOS

Complete “turnkey” postal package solution for CORREOS. This is a project all over Spain. It involves the design, development and manufacture of the solution as well as the installation, support and maintenance of the equipment. More than 2,500 devices have been delivered, in 16 months’ time.

These devices bring the parcel to the citizen, since they allow the collection and shipment of packages with total security, comfortably and 24 hours a day available.

With the deployment of this platform, SERMICRO manages to transform the business model of traditional mail into one directly associated with the new paradigm of electronic commerce: Intelligent parcel service. This new approach allows CORREOS to position itself as the parcel leader in Spain.

SERMICRO, by means of its subsidiary DIMATICA Software Development, has developed the monitoring and management solution of HomePaq as well as the integration with CORREOS information systems.
