MAINTENANCE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURES FOR EL CORTE INGLÉS GROUP
Since the founding days of our company in 1985, SERMICRO has been carrying out maintenance services for the IT infrastructures of the largest Spanish distribution chain, El Corte Inglés Group of Companies. Throughout these years, SERMICRO has evolved with El Corte Inglés adapting its services to increasingly advanced and complex technologies and to an increasing demand in the quality and features of the service.
Currently, SERMICRO is responsible for the maintenance of a total amount of 35,500 office positions, 24,000 points of sale and 5,200 mobile data terminals. Besides that, the corresponding communications infrastructures linking El Corte Inglés computer installed base. The distribution network of El Corte Inglés in Spain and Portugal, currently comprises a total of 103 large-scale centers, 561 local stores, 525 travel and insurance agencies, 3 large central services offices and 3 large distribution and storage centres.
SERMICRO currently delivers solutions to more than 36,000 incidents per annum, with a 4 hours response time. For a fully customised service to El Corte Inglés, SERMICRO has built the European Screening Centre (ESC), an exclusive repair centre for this client, specialized in the repair of point of sale terminals.
