Interactive fountain – Parque Central. Valencia.

The Central Park Execution Unit is one of the last major urban pieces to be developed in the city of Valencia. The “Central Park Acting”, is the harmonized set of railway works consisting of the remodeling of the Arterial Railway Network includes the execution of an Intelligent Source that has been awarded to ImesAPI.

Within the Park, we will find the great Plaza de las Artes with a huge interactive fountain, surrounded by banana trees and other perennial shrubs.

The source will be fed by a circuit of 9 pumps of which 3 are intended to create the three water sheets of the main source. The rest of the pumps are intended to control the 105 water jets in the main source and the 30 jets in the secondary source.

The two sources work together in 2 different modes. In the interactive mode, people can interact with the 135 water jets of the source which will have programs with different sequences, with which they can interact thanks to the Controller software.

The show mode is intended to be a show of water and lights which should be observed by users at a safe distance and outside the area where the jets are located. Imesapi, from the Valencia delegation, will carry out the detail engineering project as well as the execution of the hydraulic part and control of the source.

The period of completion of the works will be 4 months once the civil construction of the planned artificial lagoon is completed.
