Increase the energy efficiency of urban areas through the acquisition of three-dimensional energy maps.

ENSMART has developed devices, methodologies and solutions that allow to acquire qualitative and quantitative information of the thermographic behavior of zones or neighborhoods in urban environments, to be able to introduce them in the energy rating programs authorized by the IDEA. This will allow the development of three-dimensional energy maps of integrated urban environments under a spatial information management system, allowing the georeferencing, structuring and organization of information, both captured from terrestrial sensors, mobile vehicles instrumented with inertial systems, RGB sensors, thermographic sensors and laser systems for the massive capture of point clouds with three-dimensional information. Like the aerial, UAV systems instrumented with RGB sensors, thermographic and laser systems; as well as conventional airborne platforms with LIDAR systems.

This project has been carried out with a budget co-financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
