Assist in the identification of birds in a geographical location.

SADIA is a solution consisting of a cloud service with a multi-device client application, for capturing the sounds and a software hosted in the cloud for processing them, which interprets and analyzes them, automatically identifying them in real time the species through a computer algorithm.

SADIA improves bird identification processes for the environmental impact studies of the engineering sector through the development of an ICT tool that allows the accurate detection of avifauna in a specific area, at specific dates and times and with coordinates of geographical location. In this way, very accurate fauna inventories can be prepared for environmental reports, in order to protect the natural habitat of birds. In addition, the developed solution also has application in the recreational field for lovers of ornithology, allowing to associate in real time the sound record that is being heard with the species that emits it.

This project has been carried out with a budget co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (MINETUR) through the call Strategic Action of Economy and Digital Society (AEESD).
