Description of the Project
The ESE project undertaken by ImesAPI in the Canarian town of Yaiza only a year ago managed to reduce energy consumption by 52% and thus CO2 emissions, thus achieving an annual savings of approximately 60% for municipal coffers.
The City Council of Yaiza has managed to meet the objectives of the Action Plan for Energy Saving and Efficiency 2011-2020 through an ESE (Energy Services Company) project developed less than 1 year ago by ImesAPI. The good results achieved correspond to a studied energy efficiency strategy implemented by ImesAPI, which included the total renovation of public lighting in the municipality (replacement of low-efficiency luminaires with LED luminaires, introduction of light with neutral color temperature, Etc.), in total more than 2,000 light points, as well as the installation of a system of remote management and control of the installations (SIGMA) in all the lighting boxes (16).
The provision that is the object of this tender is “a further step” in the perception of what was previously a maintainer of public lighting installations. This contract evaluates actions that have not been contemplated until now, which translate into continuous improvement, efficiency and energy savings, which can be verified and measurable, ensuring the correct functioning of public lighting in the municipality, maintaining the level of service for which the installations were designed, Preventing possible breakdowns and carrying out, where appropriate, repairs, replacements, replacements, supplies, improvements and modifications.
