Description of the Project
ImesAPI has implemented the LED lighting project of the El Rincón viaduct. It is a lighting system with color treatment and LED technology installed in the arch of the emblematic El Rincón viaduct, a road infrastructure that becomes the point of connection between the municipalities of the northern region and the capital of Gran Canaria.
ImesAPI has worked hard this project by introducing LED technology projectors not only converting the El Rincón viaduct into an icon for the city but achieving a significant energy saving, passing from ornamental lighting to a lighting bath to a lighting of certain structural elements that enhance the Structure of the bridge, this way a double effect is achieved: artistic and energetic.
The energy saving is approximately 90% which will mean a saving of 5,000 euros per year, managing to reduce light consumption costs.
The El Rincon viaduct will show an avant-garde face and will be the first road infrastructure of the Canary Islands with the possibility of offering a different color range, being able to synchronize and synchronize the natural tones of the rainbow. So the viaduct can present different shades: green, red, blue, yellow, magenta, turquoise and pink.
The control is done by DMX protocol managed through a screen where we can choose static colors or dynamic scenes, in addition to the possibility of modifying the saturation.
This infrastructure, of twenty years already, has undergone a reform and complete rehabilitation. With the new lighting system, annual savings of 5,000 euros are achieved, from 16,000 watts to 1,200 watts of consumption.
