System of operation and control of installations in Buildings of IBERDROLA

Iberdrola, one of the leading energy companies in Spain and the world, has hired IMESAPI to develop a monitoring and energy efficiency system for all its buildings.

The project covers all the buildings of this multinational distributed throughout the world.

The project focuses mainly on:

• Be able to monitor within a single platform all the assets of the company, being able to perform some actions on the building itself (in lighting and air conditioning). Check the energy efficiency of each of them, being the knowledge base to take the necessary measures to rationalize their consumption. With this tool, the company will certify according to ISO 50.001 one of the buildings.
• The selected platform is Wonderware IAS 2014, with its Bussines Intelligence technology to manage the amount of data recorded and automate the reports needed for analysis. Field devices in buildings include Schneider Electric (TAC Vista), Trend Controls and Johnson & Controls.
